The payment feature within the Soho House app gives members the ability to pay for food and drink within most of the Houses. The aim is to build stronger connections with members and incorporate frictionless payments as part of the Soho House membership and experience. The current flow was redesigned with the purpose of giving members a quicker and smoother experience when paying for an open tab.

User flow & Design
The payment flow includes settling a tab, adding a discount and house credit, tipping, paying and receiving a receipt. The previous journey was long and confusing for members, not giving a proper overview of the tab features. The main objective was to make the journey more intuitive, providing all the information needed at the start. All the features were displayed just after settling the tab, so the member can make all the decisions in one screen and know how much the tab will cost.
